Formal Consultation

We are writing to inform you that Leigh Trust Board of Directors in collaboration with the Local Governing Body of Marlborough Infant & Nursery School and Marlborough Junior School is consulting on the following proposals;

• Discontinue Marlborough Junior School

• Alter the age range of Marlborough Infant & Nursery School from 3 -7 years to 3 – 11 years

• Expand Marlborough Infant & Nursery School (to include the junior side of the shared building).

These proposals would result in the amalgamation of Marlborough Infant & Nursery and Marlborough Junior School to create one single all through primary school with effect from 1st September 2019 (subject to DfE approval).

The formal consultation will run for approximately six weeks from 13^th May 2019 to 28^th June 2019 12 noon. 

During this period, we request any comments to be submitted for consideration by Friday 28^th June 2019, 12 noon.  Anyone wishing to make comments during this period may do so via the webpage above or by writing to Leigh Trust Offices using the address at the foot of this letter.

We will also be holding a consultation meeting with parents during this response period, on Wednesday 22^nd May 2019 at 9.00am and 4.30pm at the Marlborough Juniors School Hall.

When we have chance to consider all responses, we will write to you again informing you of the next stage of the process and the outcome of the responses received.
